Grootste Divali Viering

The Largest Divali Celebration will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Sportcomplex Kwatta. This event, presented by NMX Group of Companies, promises a day full of activities and festivities in honor of the festival of lights.

Day Program

The day program starts at 11:00 AM with the Prayer - Lakshmi Pooja & Havan, followed by a welcome for the children at 12:00 PM. A warm meal will be served at 12:30 PM, and from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM, there will be various activities such as sports and games, music, and the distribution of gifts.

Torch Parade

The torch parade begins at 6:30 PM with a meeting point at the corner of Grandostraat and Kwattaweg. The parade departs at 7:00 PM.

Evening Program

The evening program starts at 9:00 PM with the welcoming of Lakshmi and the participants. From 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM, there will be a dance show, followed by music from 10:00 PM to 10:30 PM and a play from 10:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

Practical Information

Vegetarian meals will be offered throughout the event. Decorated floats are welcome to join the festivities. Come in your cultural costume!
