The Lions Club Paramaribo Central, in collaboration with the Lands Hospital, is organizing a Health Day with the theme "Early Action Against Diabetes Mellitus." This event provides an excellent opportunity for the community to receive free health measurements and information.

The Health Day will take place on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 07:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

Location

The event will be held at the grounds of the Lands Hospital.

Program and Activities

During the Health Day, visitors can participate in various health measurements, including:

• Diabetes Mellitus screening
• Blood pressure measurement
• BMI measurement
• Vision tests
• Dental check-up

Additionally, health education will be available to inform visitors about their health.
